Our apartments are located in the heart of Grand Rapids’ most up-and-coming communities, including Downtown, Heartside and Heritage Hill, with many others coming soon. Apartments pair such modern amenities as stainless steel appliances and granite countertops with uniquely urban spaces. Each 616 Community lives in a previously underutilized, often historic space, giving you a one-of-a-kind living experience.

Home is where the heart is and we take pride in creating spaces you’re proud to call home! Our various locations have something for everyone. 616 Lofts consists of various upcycled buildings offering:

  • modern fixtures
  • stainless steel appliances

Prices
Each apartment at 616 Lofts is unique, so pricing varies from unit to unit. Our current apartment rental prices fall within these ranges:

  • studio apartments: $900-$1100
  • one bedroom apartments: $1150-1450
  • two bedroom apartments: $1550-$2250

Qualification
The criteria for qualifying is the same for all applicants. 616 Lofts evaluates applicants based on verification of income, rental or mortgage history, credit and criminal background. There are minimum income requirements that vary from building to building. All applicants are screened for credit and criminal cases.

Application Fees
The application fee is $50 per person and is non-refundable.

Security Deposit
Security deposit is $800.

Pets Welcome
Yes, we are pet-friendly! We welcome a maximum of 2 pets: cats and dogs*. There is a non-refundable $150 fee and $30/month pet rent.

*We previously have had a restricted breed list, but we are now qualified to accept all breeds who have received their Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification. (NOTE: if your dog’s beed isn’t on the restricted list, you do NOT have to receive this certification)

Lease Terms
12 month lease terms are standard, but 616 Lofts can accommodate variable lease terms. Premiums apply to leases less than 6 months.

Utilities
616 Lofts pays for water, sewer, trash and recycling at all locations. Residents are responsible for electric, cable TV, internet and parking, with a few exceptions depending on the location.

Parking
Depending on which 616 Lofts location is your favorite, parking options & pricing varies. Ask a leasing advisor for more information!

Waiting List
We rent apartments on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you’re eager to rent a 616 Lofts apartment, we recommend doing a few things:

For apartments currently under development, we offer pre-leasing 3-6 months in advance.

Ready to apply??
To apply for an available apartment complete a 616 Lofts lease application and submit your $50 application fee(s). Additional required documentation: income, employment and rental history verification. Documents can be faxed to 616.504.1715 or emailed to leasing@616lofts.com.

Please note we cannot accept applications for apartments that are not available.
